Sand filling stations of the BSS2, BSS2-Tandem, or BSS2-200 type are used where a larger volume is required for filling sandboxes in rail vehicles and locomotives, and sufficient space is available.

KLEIN sand filling systems are suitable for installation inside maintenance halls or outdoor setups. They can be designed either hanging or standing, depending on the spatial conditions.

The constantly sand-filled conveyor line supplies the sand filling stations fully automatically with brake sand, ensuring that a filled sand filling station is available for each filling process. Each sand filling station is equipped with one to four sand filling hoses, including filling valves, which can be equipped with balancers for easier handling. In the idle state, the sand filling hoses are pulled into a park position using these balancers.

A PLC-controlled switching and control system with visualization ensures safe, automatic operation of the overall system and offers remote maintenance capabilities via modem.
