Inorganic water glass binders are virtually emission-free during the casting process. For this reason, we have developed the mechanical-adsorptive CLUSTREG® process for regenerating inorganically bonded sands. This process enables a closed-loop sand system in the casting process, conserving the increasingly scarce resource “sand” while being economically and energy-efficient.

Our innovative CLUSTREG® process for inorganically bonded foundry sands is internationally patented. CLUSTREG® eliminates the need for high temperatures, resulting in exceptional energy efficiency. With the CLUSTREG® process, a recycled sand usage rate of up to 90 mass-% in the casting process can be achieved.
